Make your own Matcha Chai Latte

Could you use a power boost and/or do you want to give your Matcha latte some extra spice?

We already give you an excellent recipe that you can use yourself.

An instant boost and a nice variation on the traditional Matcha.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of water
  • 1/2 teaspoon cardamom
  • 1/2 teaspoon of cloves
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 3 pieces of star anise
  • 1 tablespoon of ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 teaspoons of Matcha
  • 1 teaspoon of honey
  • 180 ml almond milk

Prepare

  1. Bring water to a boil and add all ingredients, except the Matcha. After boiling, let the water simmer for another 10 minutes so that it cools down a bit.
  2. Mix everything and divide it into 4 cups.
  3. Then add half a teaspoon of Matcha to each cup.
  4. Beat the whole with a bamboo matcha beater until foamy.
  5. Top the drink with steamed milk and drink it immediately. Delicious!
