Oatmeal with matcha breakfast recipe

Ingredients (for 4 people)

  • 2 teaspoons of chia seeds
  • 80 grams oat flakes
  • 3.75 dl almond milk (or rice hazelnut milk)
  • 1 teaspoon matcha powder
  • 2 pinches of cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon (liquid) honey

For the topping

  • 1 apple cut into pieces
  • 1 teaspoon of pumpkin seeds
  • 1 handful of nuts
  • Optional: blueberries

Preparation

  1. Add the oats and chia seeds to a bowl.
  2. Take another bowl and add 1 tablespoon of almond milk and the matcha powder . Mix until smooth and then add the rest of the milk.
  3. Add the milk to the oat flakes and then stir in the honey and cinnamon. Place the bowl in the refrigerator.
  4. In the morning you add pieces of apple, berries and nuts to finish the breakfast. Voilà, your breakfast is ready. Quick and easy hey!
