What do you need?
For the brownies:
- 250 grams of butter
- 225 grams of dark chocolate
- 40 grams of cocoa powder
- 110 grams of flour
- 4 eggs
- 275 grams of white caster sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
For the glaze:
- 3 tablespoons of melted butter
- 1 tablespoon of matcha powder
- 1 tablespoon of honey
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 125 grams of powdered sugar
For the topping:
- A handful of nuts (almonds / walnuts) That provides a crunchy touch!
This is how you make these brownies
- Melt the butter, then add the finely chopped chocolate. Set the mixture aside for now.
- Preheat your oven to 175 degrees. Meanwhile, put baking paper in a baking tin.
- Mix the eggs with the sugar in a bowl. Then add the chocolate mixture to the eggs and stir well. (It is important that the mixture is not too hot anymore).
- Sift the cocoa and flour and stir into the mixture. Add the vanilla extract.
- Optional: you can also choose to add only half of the chocolate in the first step, and now stir the other half of finely chopped chocolate into the mixture. Do this if you'd rather have some chunks in your brownies.
- Pour the batter into the tin, bake for about 15 minutes and then leave to cool.
- Do not cut the brownies until they have cooled completely.
The glaze:
- Mix all the ingredients for the glaze.
- Pour the glaze over the brownies (while they are still warm.)
Enjoy!
