The combination of vegetables? You choose it yourself. Experiment until you find your favorite mix. This time I opted for a celery based recipe. Did you know that the stems have enormous nutritional value? They are packed with vitamins A, K and potassium. Celery also has a cleansing and diuretic effect, which is why it is ideal if you want to lose weight.

The requirements for 1 juice
- 1 apple (preferably organic, because it's better for your health and the environment.)
- 1 to 2 stalks celery (organic)
- 1 half cucumber (also best organic)
- 1 teaspoon of matcha
- A splash of lime juice
- A splash of water
- Optional: some nuts or seeds
How are you?
Simple: cut the apple, cucumber and celery into pieces. Mix the pieces together with the rest of the ingredients. And voilà: your healthy smoothie is ready!
Tip: add nuts for a long feeling of satiety
Do you want to add even more nutritional value to your juice? Then add some nuts or seeds: these are healthy fats and they ensure that you feel full for a long time.
Another advantage: if you add nuts, you will also tend to chew on your smoothie. Ideal, because chewing is an important step in the digestion process. When you chew food, the smoothie mixes with saliva. Saliva contains enzymes that stimulate your digestion. If you don't chew food, your intestines will have to do more work themselves. That can cause you to suffer from bloating and sensitive intestines.

Sinds ik iedere dag matcha gebruik (in drank of eten) voel ik een opmerkelijk verschil, zowel fysiek als mentaal. Een paar dagen geen matcha en ik zie het ook onmiddellijk aan de weegschaal! Met een blikje doe je ook echt lang.
