A delicious creamy milkshake, that always tastes good. Of course we also like to think about our health, and milk is not exactly super healthy due to the high amount of saturated fats.
That's why I often opt for plant-based substitutes: they are just as tasty and that way you know you're doing the right thing. :-) I made this vanilla matcha milkshake based on unsweetened almond milk, an ideal plant-based alternative!
What do you need for this milkshake?
(For 1 glass)
- 1 frozen banana
- 1.25 dl unsweetened almond milk
- ½ tsp matcha
- ½ tsp vanilla powder, and some extra to finish the milkshake later.
- 3 handfuls of ice cubes + extra ice cubes to put in your glass.
- 1 tsp honey
How do you make this delicious milkshake?
That's really super simple: put all the ingredients in the blender and mix! Add some ice cubes to a glass, pour in the milkshake and finish with some vanilla powder.
The soft, sweet taste of vanilla goes wonderfully well with the taste of matcha and banana. A top combination that appeals to both young and old!
